How To Fix A Watch Band
  1. Measure your current watch band (be careful while measuring width). It is okay for you to increase the length of new band a bit but the width has to be exact or identical. At the time to measuring the width, make sure that you are measuring the end from where you will connect the watch and the band.

  2. Find a new watch band which is identical in the measurement you took. At least the width needs to be exact same.

  3. Release the old watch band from the watch, to do this you can take help of a tool named – spring bar. It can be easily found at any shop selling watch. The main principle of this tool is to slide into the space at the side of the bar which connects the watch and the band.

  4. Take a small cloth and clean the connection points of the watch body (you can also use a small cotton piece).

  5. Install the new watch band by sliding one end of the spring bar into one lug hole. Then press the other end of the spring bar towards the lug hole and it will compress, and then quickly slide the other end towards the second lug hole and everything is done!

  6. If your spring bar successfully entered the other lug hole than leave this step and if you are unable to do so, then carefully do what I say. Take a spring bar tool and press the other point of the spring bar (it will get compressed). Then hold that position and slowly push spring bar towards the second lug hole using your hand. It will be installed successfully.
